Is this forum mostly about homeless people applying for Lama lottery and trying to get housing. Thats all I see here.

I thought it was more historic and intuitive, but all I see is people trying to score some apartments.

Pretty accurate so far.....

Yes, would say 50% or more posts/threads on any given day in this forum are RE related. Much of that revolves around "affordable", "low income", "NYCHA" and or other such housing.

It's weird to me that most of the people in those threads don't comment on literally any other subject

People have other things to do, and besides the liberal/progressive bent of this forum squashes anyone who earns and or is otherwise successful.

Post anything that remotely has a whiff of having done or is doing well; and you'll be pounced upon like a monkey on a cupcake. It just spoils the Pity Me Pines Hotel narrative which in one way or other is the dominate theme.

This forum and especially not this site do not lean left.

Out of the regular posters: you, Gdale, Pierrepont, Aireborneguy, Dave 92, Visioneer, etc. are conservative

Seventhfloor and many others are politically indifferent

Then me and a few others are left leaning but not hardcore socialists/communists/anti-gentrification activists

I can hardly think of any posters who have a strong left wing bias

Yes I am definitely fiscally conservative and conservative on things like immigration and a protectionist. However, I am an Independent (big fan of Lou Dobbs) that votes for Republicans but also Democrats or third party candidates though more and more I vote for Republicans. Democrats are becoming less and less moderate and more to the left for my tastes.

Nah the moderators are just cautious about what opinions they express here.

It's best to keep the general content on track with Real Estate related topics.

I sometimes feel the hairs running up and down my back stand up
when reading the response to some of my posts.
I would agree, but to be fair, I will give the moderators and posters the benefit of the doubt.
