How can you tell exactly if they don't have any flags out? I figured those had dwindled, but PR and DR physical appearance and food has a large overlap in my opinion so I didn't want to omit Puerto Ricans.
I have had Puerto Rican uber drivers.
Lol the music being played. Don't think I've ever been to a Dominican bodega that didn't have Dominican music on.
On a related note I pretty much never go to a bodega these days. Only find myself using them when I'm working in the field in Brooklyn. I'll drop in for a drink and a quick snack. Many of the areas I work in don't have a lot of shopping options.

He said Puerto Ricans don't drive cabs anymore, I consider Ubers to be a form of cab

Well Puerto Rican music is super popular throughout Latin America so that could confuse things.
You're obviously picking on me, if my post was off topic then so is 90% of this thread. And you're actually the one who derailed the thread further by bringing up a comment from way back that neither me or anyone else was talking about.

You wish you were that special! Keep on topic.

I was just saying PR dont dominate busineses like cab and bodegas which are usually the domain of new immigrants. By the second and third generation Italians, Jews, and other immigrants no longer work frequently as cab drivers and store owners or workers. Although Uber and Lyft is a diferent phenomenon. Heck, I would drive Uber overnight if I can't sleep if there were not already so much competition.
Peace bros. Read the prayer of St Francis of Assisi.
