Yep. I played there quite a bit around 1987ish. Played mostly at PS 21, 79, College Point, then Whitestone when they built the rink.

I was pleased to see a rink in Morris Park not that long ago with kids still playing there too. It's on Morris Park Avenue and Tomlinson.

I wish I could say the same about Queens. The rinks are empty most days. Once in a while you'll get some old timers on the weekend. Quite sad, especially since the city built these rinks for the kids. I can see a situation where the city tears them down and puts up soccer fields to accomodate the Hispanic kids.

That actually happened in one park in South Brooklyn. The field is now buzzing with soccer kids everywhere.
