Guys, if people don't leave their apartments when sick, then you don't feed into the health care machine!
We haven't really had positive flu tests at my job yet (though we had one at my other job and they seem to be popping up in Southern parts of the US) but the cold is already going around hard.
I have worked with people who dragged themselves in when they were sick and acted as if they expected a medal. I would have preferred giving them a whack "upside the head" instead.

Me too!

I have no sick time period! When I'm sick I loose jobs, money and sometimes clients. And as you all know I'm not wealthy and live in the hood and need these checks. But I still do not drag myself to a job sick with the flu that incredibly selfish.

You need a better job! Not even being funny, just honest. MTA is hiring! All you need is a HS diploma.....
What good are you to the company if you can't work? Your health comes first babes.

Just yesterday we had a sick customer on the 2 at President street during the heart of the PM rush. Tied up service on the 2,3,4,5. I bet the public wanted to blame us as always lol.
