Well, Whole Foods is also ten blocks away at Columbus Circle--2 mins on the 104 bus or the 1 train. For me, it's not so much that the neighborhood lacks conveniences as that it's kind of grimily touristy. Too much Times Square backwash. But for a lot of people this could be a good deal.
Uh, I looked at the building website. White appliances, laminate counter tops, no floor to ceiling windows.. Looks like a Holiday Inn in Arizona.. For $2500, I'll apply to be a dick, but I pass
It would have been cool when I worked 3 minutes away, but thats changed
I pass this building once a week to go to Boxers. It's a charming building, and nice location. Steps away from work. Cherry on top is the nice selection of men around there. F*ck it, I'll apply. I will qualify by next year!

And just a hop, skip and jump to Therapy as well! Yay.
I used to look out my apt and see the building when I lived in midtown. It is an affordable apt, I used to work with someone who lives there. Great neighborhood as far as convenience. Everything you need is close by and if not You can walk everywhere. I walked to central park to run, either up to 72 or down to 22 to go to trader Joes, Plenty of bars, restaurants and rooftops, all the shopping you can think of, most train lines you can walk to in 5 minutes shall you need to go to a boro.....Sigh....I miss living in the area.
Wow, I just realized this place is charging as much for its 1-bed as 125 Delancey is, but for the next income band down!
I really don't get how the affordable rents are set. There's a lot of variance.
