Has anyone with a high log number ex 10,000s gotten close to the process as far a being contacted about next steps?

Yes. Log numbers are sometimes random and they go through the list fast. Once they weed out all the ineligible applicants and the ones that no longer want the apartment having a 10K log number is like nothing at all.

Lot of people enter these lotteries just for "fun" and are no way qualified even remotely for the actual apartment. To me, this is a waste of everyone's time and energy.

It was better, in a way, in the old days when you had to have a stamp and a postcard and actually mail it.
