Both coming home yesterday evening then when out running errands noticed lots of trees down around UES. By buddies in FDNY and NYPD say it's happening all over, and is one reason traffic is so bad in places.

On the UES also. Not whole trees, but big branches on the ground. This always happens when there's significant snow before the trees drop all their leaves. It happened with the Halloween blizzard a few years ago.
