Why no montreal Smoked meat in NYC/NJ/LI/Westchester?

And I dont mean Pastrami. They are different.

Montreal has pizza, hot dogs, bagels, Italian, chinese, chain restaurants, fast food. But we have nothing of theirs. Wassup?

This is wrong on so many levels. Do we even have any poutine? Well okay poutine is just gravy fries with cheese curds. Anyone can do that.

There's a bar called "Up North" that just opened up in Bushwick, they're Canadian themed and they do have poutine.

Most of the stuff you listed is not purely American anyway.

McDonald's has poutine in Montreal. Canada can keep that disgusting stuff.

In NYC, I’ve been to Mile End for smoked meat and Black Seed for Montreal style bagels.

I don’t recall having poutine here but found this list upon googling: The Absolute Best Poutine in NYC

There's a place that serves poutine across the street from me. Canadian stuff is very much a live in NYC. We even have Tim Horton's or w/e (hint: it's just a Dunkin Donuts clone imo).

It's much easier to get poutine upstate. The closer you get to the border, the easier it is to find.

Just like when I went to the 1,000 Islands and wine slushies seemed to be everywhere. But I never see them here.
