I'd never eat something a neighbor gave me. I'm usually on the opposite end where I am the quiet neighbor and my neighbors are noisy. But If a neighbor I had complained to before about being noisy came to me with an apology cake, I'd naturally assume they poisoned it.
Count me in as well. Totally with you. People are messed up around here. If a neighbor baked me a cake or made me something I'd thank them then throw it out.
I read the first part of the note. I am unsure how to respond about the outcome, because noise complaints in most cases can be as bad as deadly.
Its more like guy meets girl during a lonely and stressful time of year and sparks flew or something. I have heard of little grandmas knocking on the gang bangers door and politely getting them to stop blasting music but the vast vast majority of people will be completely pissed off, losing sleep and not nice at that point.
Under every other circumstance: blasting music when you know your neighbors next door can hear it is disrespectful and it is asking for trouble.
