I have been noticing more of this lately: CUNY sends email blasts supporting the educating of criminal students that are in the USA illegally. They say they are "undocumented" but what they really are is criminals who are getting away with it for some reason. It is harsh but: they really are thieves and felons.

Any reason why scholarships are being handed out to criminals who are here openly breaking the laws repeatedly? Why does CUNY allow this? Why not help people who are not total criminals? Maybe we can give scholarships to people who, you know, are not here blatantly breaking all of the laws?

Post your proof and source, and specify. Dreamers, Ex-Cons, etc. Otherwise, it's just talk!

Dude it is humongous. Giving the criminals freebies overshadows their education. CUNY really is not even a school anymore they just have classes and degree programs as a front for their business.

Look here: you can spend all day long reading about what they are doing.

CUNY Dreamers Hub – The City University of New York

CUNY should be shut down.

Last time I checked, Dreamers, or those who came with their parents, involuntarily, are not considered "criminals." They have, for the most part, conducted themselves as lawful citizens. Can one even show proof of widespread application, enrollment or academic fraud among undocumented aliens? I think I already know that answer!

Unfortunately, immigration is a civil matter, not criminal, that's why they are called undocumented. They are not breaking any criminal law by coming here illegally, but also, they shouldn't get the same benefits as people who pay thousands and respect the process to emigrate legally.

"they really are thieves and felons"

Maybe you ought to educate yourself about the immigration law before you steel yourself to make your "harsh" statements. Even if they were violating the criminal law (most of them are not), that wouldn't make them thieves.

Just another doofus fool enough to listen to the rich people telling him his real enemies are "those people over there who don't look like you."

lol. Did you just say that being here in the USA illegally is NOT a CRIMINAL matter? You really believe that?

It was always "ILLEGAL Immigrants"

Then the liberals thought that was too harsh and made everyone say "Undocumented Immigrants"

Either way, it is still illegal to be here without properly applying for entry to the USA whether you like it or not

How about:
Employing educational exemptions for children of long term N.Y. tax payers.
Since the parents were the ones whose taxes have kept the educational department in business
its's only fair to give their children a monetary break in tuition.
All others students whose parents have not contributed can work in the cafeteria and clean dishes.
