Looks like someone else is seeking to cash in on the new less gritty East Village.

They should not sell, they should become landlords and develop the property. The club will have a steady source of legal income. In fact they can have a building erected and probably be able to keep some apartments and parking spots for the club in the garage. Heck the " Helps Angels Luxury Apartments " can have a 1 percenter theme.

I wouldn't count on that, at least not the members I see here in Maryland.

Definitely the end of an era. It really isn't my New York anymore. My NYC only exits in the movies and books these days.
