Found the thread I was trying to remember. BUT, it's about CARTS not trucks. Here's the link because there is some stuff about food trucks in it.

What is the intrinsic difference between food from a CART or a TRUCK?

I have had Tacos El Bronco but they were only okay when I had them. Good price. I would try them again. I think I am just kind of over tacos. They are busy.

All around really gross. I mostly just eat from grocery stores.

I know a donut cart guy. He told me it is just totally gross how filthy some carts are. I mean, cmon people.... how about in a pinch grabbing extra water from Starbucks fresh toilet bowls for brewing coffee. Dirty ice. Spraying insecticides on food. They are not exactly hiring rocket scientists to run the carts. There are no signs "Employees must wash hands".

Think of all the corners they cut just because they drive all the way from Jersey with their carts having to wake up at 3 or 4am just to get there on time for the morning rush and the workers are usually slaves for the owners of the cart license and parking priveleges. Or think about when it is summer time and they are practically cooking themselves inside those tin can food carts. It is bacteria central.

This is on par with "let's let NYC Bodega workers sell medical marijuana". Cool.
