I have a laptop that has about 8gb ram. Want to increase it to 16gb ram and find that i can buy the ram online on amazon. I do not want to open the laptop myself and install it and would like to go to a place where they open my computer and take out the old ram and put in the new one. Im pretty certain this is very quick as i seen this done before. Does anyone know what locations in nyc has this where the cost is not a lot? There is one place where i would do things like this such as have them open my laptop and replace the battery and things like that and they cost like 30 dollars or so. But that locati

I see any number of storefronts that offer laptop / cellphone repair. What your talking about is so simple, any of them could do it.

if you lookup your model laptop on youtube with the words "RAM Upgrade" I'm sure you will find a step by step instructional video.
Follow it slowly and save yourself some money.
I can do these with my eyes closed, so can you!

Jump on youtube and and im sure you will find a video of how to do it.
There are also
ifixit breakdowns of basically everything.
Most stores will charge you a premium to do it as soon as you drop it off.
