I'm not a fan of any politician at a top leadership position having that many terms. So even if I liked Bloomberg I would be against the idea of that.
I don't mind that he's pro-business (I prefer a pro-growth outlook over what the far left seem to want) but I strongly dislike his anti-freedom stance on many issues.

ok but if things keep going this way NYC will be in big financial trouble, who else could clean this mess? We will need an expert in financial management of a large organization, I really don't think there would be anyone else reasonably able to fix the city

I agree with the first part, but realistically I don't think anyone to the right of de Blasio will be elected unless the city undergoes a crisis. Even then I can see the voters still going with socialist candidates and blaming the crisis on the previous mayor not being socialist enough.
A moderate democratic is the best chance of beating Trump. He’s moderate compared to current front runners like Warren and Bernie.
