Commuting to Jersey from Brooklyn (Ridge, Brunswick: home, live in, area)

I just got a job in New Brunswick. I live in Bensonhurst. Anyone know how would the commute be?....Belt West to Verrazzano Bridge to SI Expressway West to Goethals Bridge to Jersey Turnpike South. I've done it before during non-rush hour and it's 45 minutes.

It's rough in the rush hours, at least coming the other way. A few weeks ago my dad left the New Brunswick area at just after 6:30 to get to Bay Ridge by 8:30 with plenty of time and barely made it. The big problem was in Staten Island. Maybe it's not as bad heading from Brooklyn to NJ?

Where are all the SI people from a couple of weeks ago?

Yeah my biggest concern is the SI Expressway.

yea you will get screwed during rush hr on the SI Expressway ... and you better pray for no accidents on the nj turnpike cause that can also be crappy experience

My first day was yesterday. Only took me 45 minutes going there and 45 minutes coming home as well.
