I only worry about what I personally can control. Do you have an underground bunker or fallout shelter?

What one "can control" often depends on how well one perceives the current situation and future development so you can plan and prepare accordingly. If you see things superficially, you control things superficially. Hope this rings some sense to you, mr 7th...

In this age and day, neither a underground bunker nor a fallout shelter is sufficient to cope with the gloomy outlook in the coming few years, so I have been working on a much more sophisticated sheltering system to stay safe and dry when the situation deteriorates to the worst possible scenarios.

Be prepared, that is all I am asking you to do...

Mentally I am prepared

Once you're prepared mentally everything else will follow suit.

You can plan until your face turns blue, but there is always the element of surprise.

I wear a mask as little as possible now, and when stores start letting people in without it, I'll ditch it entirely. Same with social distancing.

It dinged it. As soon as the pandemic dies down to the point where normal commerce can proceed, the economy will snap back pretty quickly.

That is my view ...money loves a vacuum ...new business’s will rise out of The ashes and anywhere weakness is shown to be in what is needed someone will fill the gap .

I think we may see more in shifting tastes than losses ....

I know we spent the travel money we had not used on new lenses recently for the cameras ..others are staying local and spending rather than travel .

All in all I don’t think we will have a long recovery unless people get stupid and reinfect everyone again

Thing is, the economic effects of Covid will create some growth headroom in an economy that had solidly bonked on the ceiling.

Being upside down only matters if you want to sell. If you like your house, want to live there, and can afford it, its current market value is irrelevant.

A primary residence is not, primarily, an investment. It's a place to live. It's a home.

Many homeowners are upside down regardless ..depending on interest rates , a mortgage can drive break even on a house up to 3 x it’s cost over 30 years
