Relocating to Brooklyn and considering a place on Maple St between Albany and Troy. Doesn't seem to be the nicest area but is it dangerous? I'm a white male in my 20s new to the city.

It’s not really ‘unsafe’ like something bad is gonna happen to you. I just doubt you’ll find yourself ‘hanging out’ anywhere around there. There’s just not much to the area. It’s heavily Jewish and West Indian and it’s just kinda boring. You have Kings county hospital right down the street. It’s an area of Brooklyn that most people just pass through on their way to other parts of Brooklyn. Prospect park is not too far away if you have a bike or something I guess that’s a plus.
