I never heard of BPC being referred to as Tribeca.

A comment from the original page:

"With huge rises in minimum wage and horrible service, this is going to be the wave of the future. Frankly, I like it. Also, this eliminates people at the register turning it around and asking for a tip when all they have done is run your credit card. Hope that this system continues to grow. Will save us all time and hassle."

Yup. Have to admit the tip cup on every counter is getting pretty annoying. If we don't vastly improve our public education system though, I don't know what kind of jobs those folks are going to be able to get.

I downloaded the app and checked out the prices. Not bad at all.

I am never in that neck of the woods and it definitely doesn't look worth a special trip, but could be good for financial district people.

I'm interested in the lunches, I'll have to check it our one day myself.

I've been to the one in Seattle. It is VERY convenient, faster, and is obviously the wave of the future.
They do employ restocking inventory people, but the cashier/register/money clerk jobs are completely automated out. Makes sense to invest in this tech in NYC where these jobs are expensive at $15/hr.

You work down there, right? Looks like a perfect option for a quick grab and go lunch.

Hum....does it really worth the money? Feel like this is really for people who have too much money and no where to spend. Anyway, that’s just my $0.02.
