I believe the OP. One of my friends once came up from Louisiana, and she needed a place to stay. She's in her mid 30's. I spoke about her to one of my other friends in her late 20's and how she needed a place to stay, and my friend quickly told me, "Oh no, she's too old." I was like, "Too old?! She's only in her mid thirties!" But no matter how I tried to convince her, the Williamsburg "princess" didn't want to give her the empty bedroom based on that.
The OP should rent his or her own apartment in an outer borough - even Far Rockaway or Inwood seems to have better choices instead of having to room with kids.
Good one stormgal. The age discrimination standard recently went down in years. It used to be 50 years old but now I think they start doing it at 35. I think big corporations now put the limit at 40 years old to be considered as a protected class like gays and females. Seriously.
Dude he is 50 years old. He is not a senior citizen quite yet.
I know the OP is 50.
The other person (the one with the spare room) would be the senior citizen. Only one person has to be.
