The world would be much better place if people first took care of themselves and their families and only then tried to address the world injustices.
What we have now is millions of young naive SJW who got spent 4 years being brainwashed with Marxist/socialist/progressive dogmas and given garbage social arts degrees who are unable to find well paying jobs and are living with their parents. But instead of getting their lives in order, they spend their time trying to solve global injustices. While have no idea about the world around , about the history, etc.
And interestingly enough, those altruistic causes they care so much about are supposed to provide them with free healthcare, cancel their college debts, provide a guaranteed employment with a new green deal, etc.
Ye, so altruistic. So noble. They sure deserve all the above freebies for their effort to make the world a better place writing from their parents basements.

Banbuk77 -If the young and naive don't stand for injustice and racism I applaud them! Stand for something or you stand for nothing don't take the road less traveled or stand for the status quo of ignorance to get ahead.

White women, veterans, and predominately white companies benefit from affirmative action so I don't see how giving reparations would change this. I'd ask you to list for us all the companies that have preferential hiring practices, what the quota is, salary grade of all the employees, qualifications of the hired, and the demographics of the employees but this is not the right thread to do so.

Start a new thread I'm interested in what you would pull up. I'll way in there.

Banbuk77 - get back to the thread. You don't know about affirmative action or who reparations were paid to. You don't know who the government have given apologies to. The US government has offered apologies to jewish people for several reasons one for harboring a war holocaust criminal. Interesting that you didn't mention anything about the Japanese, Native American, or Italian reparations I mentioned. Please read and have compassion for others. I'm sure you will keep justifying the assassination and incarceration of people of color so I'll keep posting videos kudos to Youtube!
My thing is this. When black america receives reparations. If nothing improves. The black folk in this country and city can not blame white supremacy anymore. They have to blame themselves for using reparations in the wrong way or light.

Those sjws are finding work in academia, entertainment, media, publishing, journalism, and to a lesser extent tech and banking. Those folks with gender studies degrees are finding jobs, so don't fool yourself. Those industries to a certain degree now follow a very social justice, intersectional narrative. If one does not believe in BLM, LGBT, trans rights, Muslims rights, immigrant rights, and disavow male masculinity, and believes white man is evil. You can forget about working on such spaces. On your social media page. You better say trump is bad, white men are evil, black lives matter and have a pride banner on your photo.

True. You have to stand for something even if you feel passionate about it. I can't knock that.

Bronxguyanese,

Reparations don't stop police brutality, racism, or lack of quality education. Not sure what would be the form of reparations the government would pay, it could be a 1% tax break not enough to resolve financial instability. Reparations is an acknowledgement of wrongdoing. The wealth gap in this country is significant between blacks and whites, reparations would attempt to level the head start white americans have been given. Again when did Dr. King die? What did he and others die for? What about the Loving Case?

Black people weren't seen as citizens, it was against the law to read and write, couldn't own homes, couldn't get loans, couldn't get married, were being lynched, couldn't stay with their families, had to deal with Jim Crow laws, police brutality and now fatalities. When people don't have equal rights and people see their fellow citizen as other, the society will always be unstable.

No one talks about thriving black people their accomplishments, the communities. Some communities have failed and why did it fail?

There is a system in place for supremacy. That is why there will continue to be mass incarcerations and deaths of people of color. Its in the DNA of this country. I never thought in my lifetime that I'd see a black President so I hope the next generation are aware of cycles and what they are experiencing isn't coming for nowhere. Keep fighting for equality and reform.

Your postings is a great example of this famous phrase:

The trouble with our Liberal friends is not that they're ignorant; it's just that they know so much that isn't so.

I don't want to waste my time with someone who reads some kind of blogs and believes everything is there. I pointed to the link you posted that you don't even know what is in there.
And then you claim Affirmative Actions don't have anything to do with race and only with white women.
Who should I believe: Wikipedia or a bayarea girl?

Affirmative action in the United States is a set of laws, policies, guidelines and administrative practices "intended to end and correct the effects of a specific form of discrimination"[1] that include government-mandated, government-sanctioned and voluntary private programs. The programs tend to focus on access to education and employment, granting special consideration to historically excluded groups, specifically racial minorities or women.[1][2] The impetus toward affirmative action is redressing the disadvantages[3][4][5][6][7] associated with past and present discrimination.[8] Further impetus is a desire to ensure public institutions, such as universities, hospitals, and police forces, are more representative of the populations they serve.[9]

In the United States, affirmative action included the use of racial quotas until the Supreme Court questioned their constitutionality and mandated more indirect use of race.[10] Affirmative action currently tends to emphasize not specific quotas but rather "targeted goals" to address past discrimination in a particular institution or in broader society through "good-faith efforts ... to identify, select, and train potentially qualified minorities and women."[1][11] For example, many higher education institutions have voluntarily adopted policies which seek to increase recruitment of racial minorities.[12]

And now you can go back to the topic and relay to everyone what you just read about this case in some fringe progressive blogs. Who needs evidence, trials and jurors when there are progressive bloggers who know everything from parallel universe.

Banbuk77,

I'm glad you are now educated on Affirmative action and understand that it is not considered to be reparations as you have stated previously. I hope you stay on topic and review not ignore the evidence and understand how it was that they CP5 was arrested to begin with. Please stop ignoring that the only serial rapist confessed to a crime this has nothing to do with reading a blog.

Stop pretending that race plays no part in wrongful incarcerations.
