When you say KD and KI dissed the Knicks are you implying that they both said some momma jokes about the Knicks and the Knicks did not have a good comeback, leaving them embarrassed and defeated?

No, dissed in the sense that they didn't even entertain a meeting. KD already made his decision before free agency officially started since Irving was insistent on joining the Nets due to better management and culture. Durant wasn't willing to go to the Knicks without another superstar on board. He really wanted the Knicks but not enough to go alone. He tried to get Kawhi on board, but he wasn't interested either.

All the sorry Knicks can hope for is that the young players that they have on the roster pan out and put themselves in the hat for the Gianni's sweepstakes in 2 years. Hopefully he doesn't tear his Achillese either.

Please tell me that you didn't actually take me literally.

The history of this for NBA players is not good. Rose is a shell of himself. If Durant comes back at even half the player he was, this would look like a very bad deal for the Nets considering they're already paying him next season just for recovery. Read at your leisure. A long list of former ballers with torn Achilles with shortened or finished playing careers

Don't you mean Kyrie?? Durant suffered an Achilles tendon tear which is completely different than an ACL.
