That varies on definition , some say midtown east stop at 34th and even lower but never 42nd . Midtown’s boundary general always change some say it’s 23rd . Also Chelsea technically goes up to 34th west of 8th Avenue , and Hell’s Kitchen north of 34th west of 8th . So 23rd to 34 of Chelsea Is midtown west . But I’m not gonna argue about it , some neighborhoods aren’t clear cut . Just like the old traditional area of the lower east side includes east village/alphabet city , and two bridges but now they are all split into their own neighborhoods .
No. It's below 34th. Then again, I would consider Penn Station midtown, and it's below 34. So the line may dip down lower on the west side.
Penn Station are is Midtown south. So your right with the midtown part, you just need south after.
This all got started talking about Midtown east though because someone called Bellevue midtown east, which its clearly Kips bay. I lived in all these areas. People can call them what they like, people who live there know where they live.
