I know this woman who worked at cargo facility and they hire people with criminal records. One day this dude didn't do his job and was scolded by his manager. He punched the manager and walked off the job, he was terminated the day and then he came back the next morning. Since they had security at the gate he was apprehended and arrested. They said he was carrying a blade with him, not sure if he was gonna use it or not but this is the kind of people the government is letting out into society and many of them cannot be rehabbed easily even if you give them a job they will likely get in trouble and break the law again.
What should they do? Perhaps wait til this guy kills somebody then they will throw him to maximum prison.

It's never ok to hit anybody
But it's not ok for people to talk to people in any way just because they are their supervisor
Places like that, the bosses think they can prolly get away with talking to ex-cons like whatever, because they dont respect them because of their past.
I'm just saying always 2 sides to every story

They won’t fix it because their power base is made up of skells who support criminals. Period.
Sad but true. We now have a Skell Lobby in NYS and NYC governments. It's comprised of the skells and their families. Pro-skell politician Carl Heastie said that we have to be 'patient' with bail reform.......
'State Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie urged people to have patience with the newly implemented bail law, which has received increasing scrutiny over its rules that allow New York courts to release people who would have remained in jail under the old rules.' https://www.amny.com/new-york/assemb...y-bail-reform/
What might work in our favor ("our" as in those of us who don't excuse criminal behavior/lifestyle) is that bank robberies are up a LOT because of this law. We've had 5 and a sixth attempt in the past week on Staten Island alone.
Perps know their game. When it comes to bank robbery now, as long as they don't use a weapon, it's a no bail offense. They know this which means all they have to do is get away long enough to hide the money and they win.
The powers that be won't put up with bank robberies continuing like this.
Part of me LOVES that mayhem is happening so quickly. Sweet redemption! But the other part of me realizes that unarmed NY'ers are at risk and that this is a slap in the face to all the hard working cops - some who gave their lives - who turned this city around back before the perps took control.

Patience for what? Until someone gets murdered or raped by a felon released the umpteenth time? You know it’s just a matter of time.
The funny thing (or sad depending on how you look at it) is that the person who will be murdered or raped is right now likely a liberal (because this city is mostly liberal and so they are likely to be the victim) walking around thinking how wonderful this new law is.

right. BUT -- there ARE1 SIDED stories too! *SnAp*
Uh... a lot of the crap that people can be released until trial without bail is actually pretty violent.
Criminally negligent homicide, so a drunk driver can run over someone you love, actually be winessed doing it, but they get released no bail. What physical measure is there to actually stop them from.skipping town?
Not a damn thing!
Read it and weep.
EDIT: Further. What about the habitual criminal jerk that just keeps stealing and vandalising people's crap until he skips town, but he (deservedly) gets his teeth kicked in by someone he is stealing from and the rightful owner of the property gets arrested and held without bail (which still does exist but, apparently only for working law-abiding people)
This is so stupid, the law is literally written to incentivize crime and impose much greater penalties on people fighging robberies, than actual robbery.
