Not surprised about the decision but this and the recent attacks on cops in bed stuy should/will lead to a "slowdown". Can't blame them for not being proactive. It's the "inner city" communities that will be affected most.
I am happy he was fired but lets face it, he was only let go because of the protest a few weeks ago during the democratic debate. If he waits 6 months he will be able to sue and get his job back easily... you know after Bill figures out he has no chance.
So much hypocrisy going on in this City. Communities of color want the cops to protect them when it is convenient, and when they try to, they have to dot all of their "i"s and cross all of their "t"s, but no comment about the thugs that attack cops or commit crimes...
There you go. No one ever show any appreciation when the cops do their job. Is like you doing work every second at work, and the moment you take a one second break, and someone caught you with it, they be like, “oh, you slacking”.
Oh you think teachers, doctors, lawyers, and people working other professions don’t feel under appreciated?
Well I can speak for my precinct where right after the decision we all drove back to the precinct and have been doing nothing ever since. I’m actually working on my personal laptop with another cop right now. Working on as in we’re fixing it.
Are the highway cops still out there? Want to know if I can open it up a little on the West Shore.
My prediction... nothing will change. There has been and always will be an ‘us vs them’ mentality within the police department. Most cops have no integrity to begin with.
How many Police Officers do you know, that you can make this statement?
Oh you think teachers, doctors, lawyers, and people working other professions don’t feel under appreciated?
Maybe, maybe not, but that’s not the focus here.
