Yes, they're still very much still in business, but with no where near the size, profitability, or power they used to have. In point of fact, they're aging out, without beine able to regenerate there numbers .

The group no one is talking about are the Mexican cartels. I know they have a huge presence in Chicago, I'd be very surprised if theyou don't have a large and growing presence here also. Their ability to supply an essential infinite amount of drugs gives them leverage.
