We can afford to live here though. I pay $500 month EXTRA on my mortgage and 3x my car payment (the other car is paid off).

Oh yes that 2nd endpoint for the LIRR. The Lex lines are the most congested in the city, Grand Central is a mess and so we add even MORE people into all of this.


The people who tend to drive into the city from these places will be those who are in some sort of delivery business, work construction, or work untraditional schedules. So they are forced to put up with the parking problems of Manhattan.


Crowded subway/LIRR trains aren't going to deal with this problem. And those express buses are often empty shows what people think of them.
