Guess soon I won’t have to pay the fare! I’m the only sucker who pays.
Opinion: Video of police arresting a person on the train.
Wonderful to see people are finally learning to give room to officers and let them do their job.
Not one meddling trouble maker. All respectable civilians mind a few phone videotaping annoyances.
Job well done on both sides by the police and the citizens.

The fare goes toward labor costs and maintenance, toward the running of the system. I once heard this man (he got caught fare evading) lecturing a fare inspector that he can't expect people to pay if they don't have the money. I thought the world had gone insane. Guy was putting out an argument that if he didn't have the money, he shouldn't be punished but you have to pay for services, for things. He seemed sane and the fare inspector was being respectful saying there were public assistance programs or some such things, actually listening to this man's ramblings. I forgot to mention that the man was holding an expensive iPhone.

an MTA ride costs the same as a pizza slice. I bet he will be quite willing to buy one.

LOOOOOOOOOOOOL

Nah it's just the entitlement generation, who are obviously dumber than a box of rocks.

These literal MORONS are anti-cop because they don't like being told no you can't do that. Their failure parent(s) never set boundaries, so now when they hit the real world where societal boundaries are everywhere they can't cope.

well blame baby boomers who raised them. Baby boomers had parents who certainly set limits and a good walloping of the tale was quite in order.

The older Millennials are now parents!

Assorted socialist groups. I bet that most of these kids have college degrees and parents who will bail them out. Poor minorities know better than to tangle with the cops.

So everyone who lives in these neighborhoods doesn't pay taxes, and is a criminal? You know a bunch of gentrifying white folks are also going to suffer.

Lucky the driver was nice and let her on. He absolute was not obligated to.
Moral of the story - don’t forget your card next time. In a different scenario, like boarding a flight, u may not be that fortunate

Yes, I think he would pay for a slice of pizza, it's harder to steal that.
