If it makes anyone feel better, I know a couple who moved here from Northern Ontario and think New Yorkers are completely useless when it comes to winter.
I know you’re making a joke but Isn’t the stereotype that transplants are from the Midwest? It’s much colder there.
The reality is They are from nearby states which share a similar or even colder (like upstate NY) climates.
I guess I was born in the Midwest in another life because I like it COLD. I grew up playing street hockey outdoors in the winter, so I'm certainly not phased by this at all.

I have to go to Minneapolis for a client meeting next week. The high will be 20 degrees. I’m not looking forward to it.

lol That's the artic cold, but I'm used to it. Lived up north for a bit. Used to the days where the high wasn't above 0 degrees fahrenheit. Some places that are super cold have tunnels here and there. Minneapolis has a serious of climate controlled ones...

If I can help it, I'm not leaving my apartment, well I do for work but everything else is optional as far as I'm concerned.
