SUre they are <sarcasm>

DHCR cannot even be trusted to keep track of stabilized rents and yet somebody is going to determine the total amount spent by all landlords for renovations.
That 44% figure is pure nonsensical landlord propaganda.

As an actual leftist, I can tell you that the MSM is not liberal. They are corporatists, and their bias is toward big business, not left policy.

MSM?

Manhattaan School of Music? Methylsulfonylmethane? Main Stream Media? <Geez, I hate acronyms: IHA>

If the last acronym is the one, the Wall Street Journal is HARDLY mainstream. It is as much a right-wing Capitalist Tool as Forbes. The Journaal is just another Rupert Murdoch megaphone, like Fox Cable News.

Well to be fair there is still a long way to go though. There is still uptown Manhattan, most of Queens, and Brooklyn, all of Bronx, and Staten Island that need gentrification first.

I dont know about that. Perhaps they are playing both sides. I never hear of liberalism, unless it for MSM. If not for all those celebs who's face do you put on the liberalism? Liberalism not have any clout unless it is spread around, shown off, need to be given voice.

The MSM is not real news. Its entertainment with a news slant. They do not report news that their corporate masters don't sign off on. They are not independent and they most definitely have bias toward those who pay their checks. People call MSNBC the PR agency for the DNC... The DNC is very, very right of center and only speaks in platitudes when it comes to liberalism. Furthermore they use identity politics as a shield to "prove" their progressiveness. Problem is that getting a woman, or a minority elected, who legislates identically to old white men, means it's just tokenism, not actual progress.

Staten Island already has the 2nd highest income of the 5 boroughs, Manhattan of course is first. So SI is already 'gentrified' and has been for 100 years. But The Bronx is being gentrified at this very moment. Look at all the new apartment buildings going up in the Bronx -

MSM is basically those that write the checks. They seem to promote leftist/liberal ideals. Perhaps they are playing both sides.

Because SI does not have the large swaths of poverty or income disparity that Manhattan, Qns, BK, and Bronx have with for example Uptown, Jamaica, Crown Heights, and Gun Hill respectively.

SI has been middle class white NYCer for a long time. Its basically like south shore of LI. That is not what people think when they say gentrification. People think more like very expensive, lots of trendy hipsters, and youth, and pretentious restaurants.

It seems that way to the right. But AOC had an interesting quote where she said in any other country, she and Joe Biden would not be in the same party. The MSM is the Joe Biden party (The Clinton school), not the party of the left.

That's an oxymoron. Gentrification is by definition a change, so you can't gentrify what's always been there. You're thinking living standard

AOC is a complete fraud/fabrication. If there is a poster child of a contrived life it is her. She is a puppet for the left.
