Hi! I know there's already been some discussion of tipping this holiday season, but I'm just wondering -- for those of you who live in mitchell-lama co-ops (or other affordable housing) do you tip staff in your building? We have a porter, two rotating security guards, and then some other staff. I know i'm late on this but I came from a brownstone and I'm just realizing maybe I should be tipping. Thanks, and happy new year!

My 6 building ML Co-op does a Xmas party collection for the porters that work there I always give $100.

I wish mine had done that! Is it too late to contact the management office to see what typical practice is?
