Such a sad but preventable story. I've seen it all the time that some lady walking down the stairs wearing some ridiculous platform heels taking a time. Then standing close to the yellow line. Most NY women usually wear sneakers and never wear heels going to work and then swapping to heels at work.

Sounds suspicious. Any video of the incident?

I find it odd that she fell all alone in the subway with not one soul around to see the accident. That's what I'm getting from the article - that she fell, was run over and then lying there for 20 minutes before the next train came and the train operator saw her. So strange. I guess the subway system is not well populated at 4 am.

Best to her for her recovery. At least no brain damage.

When I read that this happened at 4am immediately thought she was blasted because the article doesn’t mention how she fell in the first place and she either hit her head and loss consciousness or was to wasted to try to get up or scream for help

Also, she was here visiting "her best friend" yet was in the subway alone at 4 a.m.
And neither one of them looks 23 or whatever they are supposed to be. They both look 17.

4am? 97% chance she was wasted. Now add in high heels and possibly looking down at her phone while trying to maintain drunk stance.
