Oh this is going to be good! *LOL*

Mr. Donovan is progressive, liberal democrat from word go. That and he does have a strong record (if such things are your tastes), so this announcement has potential to shake things up. He would be a new face in a sea of career NYC politicians (including Mr. Scott Stringer who wants the job so badly he can taste it), also planning to run in 2021.

Oh boy. Never heard of this mofo until tonight. Took me 2 minutes of YouTube/Wiki research to figure out what a disaster this ******* is and would be as mayor.

As an aside, no true Irish American, which this mofo appears to be, would spell his name in the black version. Shaun is meant to be spelled as Sean. This isn't meant to be racist. It's just a fact. Sean has gaelic/catholic roots in Ireland. Shaun, thought I don't know for sure, is likely the black revised version of the white original. So, if you have a white Manhattan liberal of Irish descent named Shaun, you need to figure he's a pandering leftist. Sure enough, the first youtube video that pops up is of him pandering to a bunch of white elites in a Tedtalk about how black kids are born into violence because of the zip code they are born into. Be suspicious of us white folks when we are talking about black problems.

As a life long native NYer of Irish parents, can't we get a NY native of Black or Hispanic background, preferably of moderate/conservative leanings, to run for mayor? Enough of the Bostonian white liberals like DeBlasio, Bloomy and Cory Johnson.

I see Scott Stringer is in again, who seemed like an okay guy.

Wow, that seems like bias at its worst.

You've never heard of him, but immediately term him a "mofo"? Because of what his parents named him? Because he's not sufficiently clinging to his ancestry to suit you? Because you think whites should only talk about whites?

This post seems shameful to me.

It's going to be interesting watching these eegits trip over themselves attempting to be the most "liberal, progressive, equality, inclusive" or whatever candidate. So far out side of Donovan (who hasn't said much), it's all BdeB all over again.

Hopefully people have had their eyes opened and will make right decisions in 2021.

Opinion: You caught my ear when you mentioned conservative. Nice!

^ The liberal progressives will scream racist (because that is the trick they love to use) and that’ll be the end of that conservative candidate.

Nah, Mr. Shaun Donovan was housing secretary or something in mayor Bloomberg's administration. Lived on Bergen street before selling and going to Washington D.C. IIRC.

Given that its parents who normally name their kids do you have proof that he changed the spelling of his name. He is an American so isnt obligated to be "Irish".
