The Queens District Attorney’s Office did not request bail, despite the cop being slapped previously with a violent felony charge — assault with intent to cause injury.
So here we have a NYPD officer who has had multiple offenses, yet no bail was called for. As these offenses date back to before the Bail Reform Act, how can anyone say this wasn't being covered up?

....you don't think the commissioner and 'his other brothers in blue' who don't beat their daughters
and 'heard about this' doesn't find it disturbing too......? what do you think, they're all snickering in the locker room about it?
dude, we have to stand behind the police instead of .....this. yes, it happens.
is this what you want to hear?
God forbid you had to "you know" -- they will be there
to answer your call.
Opinion:
Abuse should not be tolerated in any form but one must be careful in discerning the meaning of discipline without crossing its' boundaries.
I will never forget the story of my neighbor. An upright man. A good man. A Vietnam War Veteran left with the crippling effects of agent orange and smoked pot to relieve his crippling joint pains. He had a daughter 12 years old " social butterfly " whom he tried to raise as best as possible. When it did not work he disciplined her. She called the cops and told them I want to get away from my dad because he smokes pot. They separated the child and he was left heartbroken. Needless to say.........she went onto become pregnant and had a child before 16 years of age and is on government assistance while her father died of a broken heart.

Poster didn't say that he beat her. We may find out all he did was ground her and had her take care of his basement grow-op for a week...
