Buy actual garbage bags? Supermarket bags were never proper receptacles for getting rid of trash. Neither are brown paper bags. I love the fact that all the cheap bastards will now finally have to go out and buy actual garbage bags like they should have been using all along.

Those bags are handy, if there's a more eco-friendly way to do it show me the way then. I'm not dumping kitty litter in my regular trash though and letting it sit until it gets full, you're bugging

yeah although the price comes out to around 5 cents per bag even while buying a case so maybe you're better off just paying the 5 cents at the store and accumulating them that way.

Why are poor people exempt from this? It makes no sense. It costs maybe 99 cents at most to buy a reusable bag, and many times they are actually free. So why the different standards? Is the city afraid of a lawsuit?
Came home today to my 10 brand new reusable bags. I don’t plan to give a single red cent to this BS tax. Five for my car, 5 for my wife’s. Especially now that I know poor people (and benefit scammers) are exempt which is BS.

I keep a couple of those reusable bags in the trunk of the car, they come in handy for Costco
