I hate Bloomberg for that very reason, and a few others.
then conveniently he change the term limits back, once ion office for the illegal third term.
You're just mad about the third term because you didn't like the guy, probably jealous of his wealth. Don't forget this wasn't some bonus term he illegally just took, he had to get ELECTED for that third term, which he did by wide margins since people loved the job he was doing.
Sorry you don't like someone successful running the city but it was maybe the best 12 years NYC ever had

I am not jealous of his wealth at all. I just don't like dictators.
Please note that there is no definite fact about Trump's worth. He has supposedly lied to get onto the Forbes list in the past, and some people don't think he's even been a billionaire for much of the time he claimed he was.
He was in negative net worth for a while when everything was going bankrupt. But he got himself out of it intact.

I liked Bloomberg much better as mayor than his current incarnation as a presidential candidate. As mayor, he stayed pretty much independent of party politics. Now he's trying to pander to the far left wing that votes in Democratic primaries. That isn't likely to work for him, and the far left isn't going to vote for a billionaire, especially one that was a mayor with something of a law and order reputation.
He would have been better off running as an independent. Whoever wins the Dem nomination is going to be very far left, and Trump has embraced the far right with open arms. There a huge gap, and a huge number of voters, between those two extremes.
Says who? He only does politics cuz hes bored/ personal interest. Hes running for president for personal interest.
The front runner is the Venezuelansocialist Bernie Sanders and none of the moderates. Warren is irrelevant now after NH/ Iowa. If a moderate was likely to win, Bloomberg would back off. Bernie's new tax plan if implemented is meant to reduce every billionaires net worth by half ...within the next 16 years? Many Bernie supporters think the wealth would be redistributed back to them directly...um no he's increasing your taxes. Iunno you can read that idiotic tax plan. Bloomberg's plan doesn't wipe out half his wealth. To see where Bloomberg's tax plan falls- he would pay less under Biden, Pete, and Klobuchar. So his plan is imo kinda center and that is why he is running.

wide margin? hardly
2009
Bloomberg- 50.7%
Thompson- 46.3%
a 4.4% margin of victory.
in 2005, his margin of victory was 19.4%, so he took a dive in his third election.
