Hi folks I would like to create a series ether Comic or novel intilled the Wolves, inspired by the Warriors movie those far out Gangs of New York in 1970's.
The Wolves like the Warriors are based in Coney island,
So are main character just moved to Coney Island and joined the Gang, so I need help with New York in 1970's, and the Youth Gang culture.
I'm asking for help what was New York is like in 1970's, those gang members that were featured in The Warriors must be around in there 20's.
I made some original characters for this setting, such as the Police Officer who specializes in the Gangs. I would like to point out in the 1970's New York Police was very different then it is now, like the fact Men had to be clean shaven.
