Moving on, Biden would not have closed off flights to China when President Trump did (if ever). Remember, he and other leftists called such a move premature, xenophobic, and racist That move saved thousands of lives.
Not Biden-related, but I sincerely hope that isn't the take you're taking with eliminating a planning and coordinating agency dedicated to just epidemics. The idea that building up institutional knowledge and planning on how to act on something this far-reaching and rapid is something that can just be spun out of the air in short order is ridiculous. The whole idea of having a specific agency for this is to continuously develop these plans and understand what levers can be pulled among all those agencies in a coordinated response. It is literally what many of the countries that dealt best so far with the virus had. While scrapping a coordinating agency like that might have passed mostly unnoticed if the epidemic were to happen after one's presidency, the idea of saving a little compared to the massive financial hit this is causing should be recognized as phenomenally stupid now, since it is incredibly apparent that is a bad wager. This, to me, is incredibly stupid and short-sighted.

But ARROGANCE that America is so GREAT, an Americans are so much bigger and better than mere mortals in the rest of the world, which we hear constantly from certain people and look where it has gotten us with COVID-19.
It was Gov. Cuomo that refused to order ventilators in 2015, 2016, 2017,2018, 2019 and today. He is the arrogant American.
He didn't close down NYC to travel, etc. The other day he stated closeness is New York's strength when it's just the opposite. Nobody trusts a fool like Cuomo. His sanctuary city support policy has helped create a death trap in NYC.
Now he says a quarantine is not possible in NYC, really? He is wrong again!

PS. His family could purchase plenty of ventilators for NY residents, they are filthy rich!

Good grief, senile Joe Biden doesn't even know what state he lives in.
Biden said the cure to Caronavirus is the main problem, whatever that means?

What institutional knowledge was lost? Again, unless you tell me that the NSC did not have a pandemic response team period and/or that the CDC, NIH and others who are the point people on pandemic response, talk of harm to our response preparedness seems uniformed.

By the way, the NSC essentially coordinates between the different agencies for various situations critical to national security, to include pandemic response (. . . a pandemic response person can be interchanged/added there at any time . . . again, they are only coordinating resources and activities) in order to provide a unified response to the president.

The specific agency for pandemic response is the CDC. Again, the NSC merely coordinates the diverse activities of the federal government to provide for a cohesive, unified response to the president. But that can be done in any number of ways that are not even unique to the NSC. To this extent, nothing with the CDC's pandemic response efforts were changed.

Additionally, the NSC is not a career job center. People generally rotate in and out of the NSC every few years, which further limits talk of institutional knowledge.

I'm finding that people don't really have a solid understanding of what the NSC is or does.

So we can vote him out. We can choose to replace all who failed. Including the President. And you again with the aliens. You know in NYC the illegals we have can come forward and get treatment and minimize exposure to others. What about in cities where they also live in fear. They may spread more of the virus as a result for not getting treatment. We do need comprehensive reform for immigration. However Mexicans did not bring us the virus

^^If only such consistency of approach was being taken by everyone. Instead, the left and MSM have resorted to calling Cuomo "America's governor" due to his coronavirus response, which shows just how unbalanced and uncritical some will be towards some (but not others) where it suits their needs

Yeah, you see. That's what you get when you listen to "experts", sometimes.
It's hard to know who to listen to in situations like this.
They tell you this. They tell you that. Only to go back later and go, "well...we thought so at the time..."

Pshaw!
