That's a vastly different thing that saying they're taking dead bodies out of apartments. Most of the people being picked up are alive and taken to the hospitals. If they die there, they'll be counted.

How do we know the 'reason' they are there and not for some other random reason? I dunno. Even without Covid, I always see ambulances around the city, doing, Ambulance things. I dunno.
Where are you seeing the videos? I thought I was seeing every possible news item and video because unfortunately I’m glued to my screen, but I haven’t seen those yet. Instagram? Twitter?
twitter mostly .One of them was on this thread last night: pic.twitter.com/3f64kBOcpl
Are you one of those landlords who charged $2K+ for a studio and arrogantly demanded 3-4 months security deposit? Laughed yourself all the way to the bank and back depositing rent checks? If so, I hope you've saved up while the getting was good because the days of landlords making fools of tenants is over. That gravy train has dried up due to COVID-19.
Paying a fortune to live like a sardine, staring at buildings and concrete 24-7, only to now be stuck in the epicenter of U.S. coronavirus outbreak. Those with means have voted with their travel bags -- nope, not worth it.

If it's not worth it, why is it worth it to post in the NYC forum? Go learn a new skill or something. I know I'm taking this time to do well in my masters studies, hopefully putting greater focus into learning Japanese.
I think Korea is still the benchmark example of how to contain this, eh? Albiet, they are a much smaller Country. They threw the technologies at it something fierce.
Taiwan and Singapore, though Singapore is a small city-state. Japan's odd because it seems to be dealing with it fairly well so far, but hasn't really ramped up efforts in quite the same way that South Korea and Taiwan have.

Have you ever tried language learning plugins for Netflix? It really ramped things up for me.

If it's not worth it to you, as it ever occurred to you it may be worth it to somebody else?
Not all wealthy New Yorkers have left NYC, not all wealthy Manhattanites have left Manhattan.
That is the general assumption, very likely correct. Dow tends to briefly jump up by 1,000
points on any slightly positive tiny piece of economic news even now, still in the middle of the epidemic.
