I heard online today that Spain has relaxed it's COVID-19 lock down today and millions of people have gone back to work.
I guess that's where NYWriterDude is. No longer holed up in his room in Spain posting on C-D reminding us that NYC is doomed, the USA is doomed, etc.
I haven't seen Leoliu in a couple of days or more either. Hopefully, he and his family are okay.

Is that the LEROUX product, called Abisante. It is purported to TASTE like absinthe did but without the active ingredient, wormwood, banned in most countries since 1915.
I like Abisante but it has gotten too expensive for my wallet. Is it still made? It has to be near 40 years since I had my last bottle.

Absinthe has been legal for awhile now. Initially they didn’t have the wormwood but they do again. I drink Absente.

I went to an Absinthe tasting event last year. There were several different types to try. Some I liked, some I didn’t. It was a nice event. Interesting mix of very different people all interested in one thing.
Testing for virus? I'm sure people would approve it. Temperature control and all. It has nothing to do with what people don't approve when it comes to border control, which is just bothering people based on their ethnicity or travel papers. That's stupid.
The thing is , if/when a 'new' virus breaks out there won't Be a test to check people with. So the if we wanna be Mr.early bird and shut down all incoming travel we'd have to do so without really being able to check. Look how long it's taken us to get reliable tests though. So what do we do in the meantime?
I am not sure how many outbreaks happen out in the word per year, many probably turn out to be nothing crazy. But everything seems like it's nothing crazy until it isn't.
