Yea, it's quite possible long term damage will be very limited. SARS had resulted in some long-term damage for a minority of survivors, but then again, there are some ways this has differed from SARS that are known now and long-term effects are not something that are currently known.

That's important context which no physician is talking about. It makes sense that healing would take longer in the 50+ demographic.

Also healing would depend on the individual genetic as well as diet and lifestyle of course. Many people smoke and drink excessively with poor nutrition and wonder why they don't heal.

Put in a nice order from my local BBQ place for tomorrow. More food than we need but I want to support them.

New York National Guard 1st Batallion 69th Infantry Regiment has stand-by orders to post up at key access points (i.e. all the choke points like GWB, the tunnels, Goethals) and some supermarkets.

They are to establish Medical Evaluation Checkpoints (MEC). To facilitate stopping the spread of coronavirus, a fixed percentage (aka a quota) of civilians encountered at the MECs will be sent to quarantine areas.

LOLOLOL!!!

Stubborn??? You're welcome, my sweet, sweet child.

It's okay, get on up there and stand on our shoulders. IMHO, you need to prepare yourself, Twinkie. The glory days of being pampered are coming to an end. Medicare for all and Student Loan forgiveness are already distant dreams for another century. Before Spring is over, you'll be living in a different world. And it's going to get interesting from here on out.

Love and kisses,
Boomer from the UWS
