You really couldn't make this up if you tried.

Let's go over some of her qualifications.

- Speech Writer for Dinkins
- Worked for a hospital for a bit in administration
- Worked as her husbands speech writer when he ran for Mayor

.
.
.
.
- Main Advisor to the Mayor of NYC
- Head of ThriveNYC which lost $850 Million Dollars
- Now Head of this Coronavirus Task force which will lose ($TBD)
- Aspiring to be Brooklyn Boro President
(Quite a jump from Speech Writer no?)

What can go wrong?

I need to GTFO of NYC Fast.

Mayor Bill de Blasio announced Sunday that he has put First Lady Chirlane McCray in charge of a special coronavirus task force — insisting her work with her embattled ThriveNYC initiative made her perfect for the new job.

McCray will work with Deputy Mayor Phil Thompson in leading a task force on racial inclusion and equity to make sure the Big Apple rebounds as a “better and more just society than the one we left behind,” Hizzoner said.

The mayor insisted that the First Lady deserved her place at the head of the new initiative because of the ideas she generated — defying critics and praising her work with her $250 million-a-year mental health plan.

P.S. How is it that liberals find a "Racial" angle to everything?

NYC is the most RACIALLY DIVERSE place in the world. ALL RACES have equal opportunities here.

Perhaps they are confusing RACE with ECONOMIC Inequality? That's more real. But doesn't have the same headline I guess.

I’m not a NYC resident so I didn’t know anything about DeBlasio prior to the pandemic. However he’s been in the news quite a bit in these last 1.4 months and none of has been for anything good. He’s the one politician that both sides seem to agree on- I haven’t seen anyone defend him. It makes me wonder- why was he elected in the first place? What did he used to have going for him that made it possible for him to win the mayoral race?

In short? He came up from behind when Anthony Weiner, who was also running and leading in the polls, showed his...weiner. He won the first election this way.

He second election? Most people stayed home and the few that went out to vote, voted for him. Most people stayed home due to the feeling that "Well he's going to win anyway even though he stinks". Also because NYC never really put up any good opposition to him.

NY, especially NYC Politics, is probably the most shady and corrupt in the USA.

He won the first time around due to his wife being black. Remember his sons "look at me I'm biracial" commercial? He won the second time around because he has a D next to his name.

He won because he is a Democrat, and Anthony Weiner shot himself in the foot.

Like it or hate it,the following is only my opinion:
Billy Boy has a vendetta.
He would throw a drowning man a glass of water..........
With only a few months left he want to make sure the city never rises from the ashes.
