Theres no law that says they cant punch you. They can shoot you if the context is right.

In this context it doesnt seem lawful that Garcia X halfway punched/slapped the guy.

Will the leftist prosecutors prosecute the leftist cop, probably not

"Donni Wright, 33, was similarly charged with resisting arrest, obstructing government
administration, disorderly conduct as well as assault on a police officer and menacing."

Just another bodega bro with his bodega-ghetto-"getup" -- saggy-a$$ pants & his defiant attitude
towards figures of authority.

what else is new: The bodega bro started it.

He did the usual: took a ‘ghetto fighting stance’ right in front of the cops face – he was like:

Yo, bro, you want some?

...and the cop was like: (...you thug punk..)

What a ghetto thug…………pull up your saggy, dirty pants and...unghetto yourself.

It’s disgusting the POLICE have to be the S.D. Police – what a waste of MAN POWER.

They when did you use my quote to inject yourself into supporting the position of the poster who said - specifically - that cops cannot use fists against people?

I'm not sure how many people have been arrested on this board or have arrested people. I'm not going through years of posts. No where in any protocol does it say to handle situations like this.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/nypost....cing-bust/amp/

But, the subject here, Donni Wright is at East 9th street and Avenue D at 5:30 pm. He is in the distance, most likely legal distance, from an arrest by 4 plain clothes officers of people not special distancing and the magical " bag of weed" possession.

Here Detective Garcia X removes himself from the initial arrest and goes to move on lookers away from the social distancing arrest, ironic?

He waves and activates his taser, he curses at the same time. Then he slaps Mr.Wright, throws him to the ground and then slaps him 3 more times before driving his knee into his neck and cuffing him.

Garcia X has SEVEN lawsuits against him for brutality and excessive force. A million dollar liability to the taxpayer. If mr Garcia would have been at the rabbis funeral in Brooklyn last week maybe he could have slapped fire out of all the attendees and handed out tickets like crazy.

Hopefully people dont flex on Avenue D anymore. Isnt "flex" thug talk ? Where did Garcia learn this languge?
Mr. Garcia looks like a nypd plainclothes officers. In certain neighborhoods, you have to talk their talk to be accepted., walk their walk, etc.

IMO, the guy (Donni Wright ) should have minded his own business. If he wanted to record he could have done it in a safe distance. A word of advice is not to interfere in an arrest otherwise you are going to join the arrest.

Donni Wright has won the ghetto lottery. Congrats! Rev Al!! Where you at?!

Mr. Garcia has a problem with black and brown people given his track record. He's been named in several lawsuits. So it's ok to go into the hood and aggressively target people of color because they're in the ghetto. Meanwhile he has no history of doing this to other groups. Disgusting. He's already been put on modified duty as he should. I'm not condoning the guy's behavior, but his response was over the top, and if it was a white guy, he wouldn't have done that. Sick of seeing this nonsense. All over social distancing... It will never stop because black and brown people don't respect one another.

Look at the video, the guy (Donni Wright ) was standing his ground. Like i said, in certain neighborhoods you need to act and talk a certain way to get through to people.

Look at 46 seconds, it looks like Donni Wright steps up to the cop with a balled up fist.

I don't see what the problem was. The guy stepped up and got slapped around like the punk ass ***** he is. The cop could have tazed him and been done with it. Instead, he holstered up and fought the guy mono-e-mono. The perp had his chance to step up and take his shot. He **** the bed instead.

There was ZERO problems. The gentleman stepped TOWARDS the cop in a threatening manner, with a closed fist, and the cop defended himself.

End of story.

So he is a "Brown" cop who is racist against other "Brown" people? Really?

Or perhaps the mutts he deals with in the streets are 99.8% Black and Brown? I doubt that the neighborhood he covers has many other ethnicities residing in it. Perhaps they should start Bussing cops out to different, more white area's, to balance out the type of people they deal with? Would that appease you?

His TRACK RECORD can only be filled with people who LIVE AND WORK in the area he covers.

If there is no law, then what are you going to prosecute?

Stop playing judge because 1. You have no say in the law!

Anyway besides OPs crying. BEAUTIFUL VIDEO. As much as I have my own problems with NYPD, you can't step to an officer with your fist balled up and to the credit of the non-uniformed detective, he put his taser away, he gave yung flipflop a chance to fight but went down like a ... well, let the crowd tell it...
