According to the FAQ;
https://otda.ny.gov/SNAP-COVID-19/Fr...ndemic-EBT.asp

They should have mailed a letter to everyone in mid-June, is the city holding on to the money?

Our school just sent out a notice about this last week. So I guess the money hasn't gone out yet. As someone who's still working, I'm miffed they're giving money to everyone and not just the poor and unemployed. Never mind that the kids are still getting school food (to go). But... yeah. I don't know if we'll still have jobs in the fall. There's a chance we may end up down one job. Or even both. So I guess it's good if we can save this money.

Anyone get one of these cards yet? I called the NY P-EBT hotline (1-833-452-0096 ) and they had to open a case to find out why I didn't receive it.

The linked website says “households with children who would have received free school lunches under the National School Lunch Act”, so unless your kids were in that program, you shouldn’t expect anything.
