But being infected doesn't mean you're going to die from it. I also believe everyone will eventually be infected - just like a common cold and flu.

By the way, I recommend everyone read this book:

Who cares, we need to open. I can't even get to my doctor for an issue. This is ridiculous. We been closed 3 months. People have real life issues they need to get taken care of.

Doctor offices are still closed? Mine has been open for more than a month now. They keep calling me for my annual but I'm reluctant to go. Or do you mean you don't have the transport to go to the doctor? Btw, are subways open to non essentials now? I can't keep up with all these phases...

I need to see one of my specialist, they are still closed and not taking appointments. I just called again this morning. My PCP is only doing video call appointments. I'm coming up on my annual but I need blood taken so I have to wait until they start booking in person appointments again.

I have no issue being in a doctors office or hospital over the cornovirus. I have fear of not being able to see my dr when I need to and causing me long term health problems.
Also no fear of taking the subway due to the cornovirus. My issue as to why I stopped taking the subway was the safety issues regarding them filled with homeless and pan handlers. Every trip I took in the end of March and beginning of April they was some issue so I vowed to stay away till "everyday" people started to take the trains again.

Oh...wow. That's not good. I didn't know some clinics are still so skittish because my doctors have been so aggressive/enthusiastic about seeing patients. It's me that's being skittish.

Same. I'm not concerned about getting the virus from riding the subway (they're now saying the likelihood of getting it from contaminated surfaces are minimal). It's being surrounded by the homeless & not a transit worker/cop on sight is what I'm worried about.

I think each doctor has decided on their own policy. My primary care doctor's office was closed completely for several weeks and then finally opened up to see patients two days (instead of the normal 4-5 days) a week. A specialist doctor that I was waiting to receive results from before the shutdown and couldn't get through for several weeks, I finally found out that she was receiving patients for half days only of her regular 2 days a week office hours (and I guess I had been calling at the wrong times).

why can't your doctor give you the order for the lab work so you can get it at LabCorp or a similar place?

My doctor did a face time type of meeting last month which was brand new for me.
