The italians aint all that tough. Most dont even feel bold until theyre at least in groups of 4 or 5. Most Italians associated with Mob crime families dont engage in these kind of activities. Most Blacks and a good number of latinos have no reason to goto Italian neighborhoods esp not for the sole purpose of robbin people or starting ****. The few times they decided to run down on a black person u got incidents like Howard Beach and yusef Hawkins in Bensonhurst, 2 cases where the black people in question werent there to cause trouble.
1 incident the blacks who were attacked got stranded in the area due to car trouble and another incident a black teenager went out there to buy a car. The only black people that even be in Throgs Neck are the ones who live in the projects in that side of the bronx. Shoot u dont see too many blacks going east past Parkchester. At least a 1/4 of Throgs Neck is middle class Puerto Ricans with city jobs.
But how many tough guy italians would go into a black neighborhood acting tough to start ****?? Esp if theyre not in a NYPD uniform?
You can say that about everyone. Everybody feels emboldened when in a group and vice versa. You just wrote three paragraphs saying nothing.
The mongrels didn't loot or riot because the residents of Dyckman were smart enough to chase out the mongrels beforehand.
That's not really the whole story. Earlier the nypd spread false rumors of a large scale riot in the area and these guys ran with that and started chasing black kids in the area. That is a problem because Dominicans racially profiling is dumb. There were as many if not more Spanish looters in the streets especially in the bronx and the Dominicans didn't stop groups of Spanish kids. Also nobody would even loot on dyckmam to be honest. There is no real stores or anything else up there.
Anyway those dominicans realized how foolish they looked and how the nypd tried to use divide and conquer so they apologized. There are at least 2 videos of them saying sorry

Let's be serious. Thats not what happened. The black community knows that the Hispanic community only joins us when it benefits them and as soon as it doesn't they distance themselves and blame us.
The neighborhood has turned into a largely Albanian and Latino spot.
Yes, Throggs Neck is a very lovely neighborhood. But the dude in the street, and the other "Sal-sounding" dude, looks like they doing nothing more than talking empty ****......with not a damn thing going on! To be honest, I'm laughing at this ****!

There are plenty of stores on Dyckman - mainly eateries. That said, I'm not shocked by the video. Dominicans and blacks have had lots of tension over the years here in NYC. I know of a biracial couple. Dominican female and white male. Dominican female is mixed with black and white, as is the case with many Dominicans, and noted how racist her mother was (and still is) towards black people. It's 2020, but some things never change.
As far as Throggs Neck goes, I remember back in the day they would say that Throggs Neck was still safe, even as most of the Bronx was burning. I like to point out that there are plenty of good, safe neighborhoods in the Bronx, since the entire borough gets such a bad rap here as being riddled with crime.
Excerpt: A Bronx Community in Throggs Neck Stands Up Against Looters
Response: God ,Family ,Community. Those who are members of a community only know that it symbolizes
unity and a bond not easily broken. It takes great courage to defend. Words are words. Actions are actions.
In the end what matters is that you stood up for what was right. Defending your neighborhood against rioting and looting.
