Phase 2 reopening this Monday June 20th includes hair salons and barbershops and all them who cut heads for profit and love.

Who ended up waiting this out and are scheduling a haircut immediately? Who's going without? And who just decided they were going to cut their own hair?

I ended up just using hairbands because my hair grows like weeds. I had hair gel leftover from Halloween and I've been trying to go for some sculpting, but the sweat and heat just doesn't work with it. I've got a grooming kit for my cat and I'm thinking of just buzzing myself. I'm not going to the hair salons / barbershop out of fear or anything--just thought this was a good and convenient excuse to look ridiculous on Zoom calls with clients.

4 months no cut. Went from buzz cut to shaggy 70's style lol. Hopefully go soon, but think I'm gonna leave it long up top

I cut my hair twice during the lockdown. Nice tapered fade going up the sides and a combover on top.

I looked like the well kept, sexy man I am this entire time.

My brother in law offered to cut my hair with his ancient Flowbee. No way. I'm letting my freak flag fly until I can go to a barber without wearing a mask.

I went 4 months with no cut but I wasn't feeling long hair at 50. Took a 3 1/2 blade to my Oster76 clipper and buzzed it all off. It looks great. Only caveat is buzzcuts don't look good dressed up with a sport coat and tie. It is more of a blue collar look. If that is the case for you don't go lower than a #4. Actually I recommend anyone starting to start with maybe a 5 and work down from there. Unless you know what you want beforehand.

I've been cutting my own hair for over 10 years now

Next I am trying to convert my own waste into renewable energy.

I was due for a haircut when Cuomo shut barbers and salons down. After four months without a haircut I used a mustache/beard electric razor with a comb attachment and I think it did a good job.

Good job.

Good to hear.

It's actually not that hard. I have no idea why so many are afraid of trying. Trimming a beard is tougher.
