Why anyone come back up here during summer? Its just as hot and humid as Florda. I can understand late summer/early fall when the hurricanes come.

But then again why not just go a bit more inland like Georgia, or Bama?

not even close here ..that florida sun in the summer is much more intense ... i was down there in the summer and we could barely stay out side ... same temp here , never a problem .

in fact i got sun poisoning in the Bahamas at a relatively cooler temp .

florida is unique in that you can have a new york license and register and insure a car down there as a snow bird , although it is supposed to be registered where it is primarily parked .

states like PA require a PA LICENSE to register and insure . your drivers license must reflect your primary state so if PA is not your primary state that is insurance fraud .

federal law requires that when you are from a state with lower minimum insurance requirements and drive through a state with higher requirements , your coverage is automatically elevated no charge .

claim you are a pa resident and really driving in ny has pa and the insurer coughing up the extra coverage in case of an accident and you don't even live there full time . so they look at that as fraud

I haven't noticed more Florida plates. But recently I have noticed parked cars with license plates from Texas, Colorado and California.

You've never heard of it? I wish I hadn't. I'm so fair that I've gotten sun poisoning multiple times wearing SPF 85. I just basically don't go in the sun.

Funny but I saw so many NY and NJ plates here in South Carolina about a month ago that I wondered what was going on.
