In NYC, the trash is piling up (due to cuts in Sanitation) and violent crime is skyrocketing due to coddling of criminals and attacks on the police under the pretext of "systemic racism". We all know that "systemic racism" is, of course, BS.

"Ex-cons, hardened gangbangers and those accused of domestic abuse are among the rogues’ gallery of shooting suspects cuffed over a six-day span in July, a snapshot of 15 arrests shows."

Scary times to be in NYC as trash piles up spreading all kinds of diseases, shootings up, robberies up, violence in general up, unemployment up, poverty up, and further budget cuts on the horizon.

Excerpt: the trash is piling up (due to cuts in Sanitation)

Response: Opinion

This is how it starts in any city when there is no money. Cuts in City Services. Those garbage receptacles found
on just about every street corner will be now moved to every other street corner. Those garbage receptacles emptied
twice a week will only be emptied once a week. Garbage will pile. Rats and roaches will visit. Disease will spread.

People will leave.

Thank you politicians in charge for spending
our tax dollars so wisely over the years.

Right now, Manhattan is basically a ghost town compared to what it used to be. No business wants to open or operate in such an unsafe environment.

NYC is now a city of either broke ghetto hood types or the super rich who are shielded from them (except when they see "the help").
