Ahhhh! There's a refreshing nip in the air along with light breezes! All the nasty moist and damp air is gone replaced by crisp cool and refreshing dry air. Perfect weather for sleeping under a nice blanket with windows open!

AC will soon be cleaned and sealed up for winter, and looking forward to my Con Edison bills dropping back down from triple digits.

Oh yes, cooler dry weather means those GD mice sized roaches are going away!

Expect more dumpster fires to keep the homeless warm throughout the night

Yea, I’ve really been looking forward to this summer being over. Today has been glorious weather for a picnic in a park. This and spring are also my preferred grilling weather.

I used to love Autumn in NY. It meant that all the bars/nightclubs were back in action full throttle after the Summer lull. I did my best work of the year in October - Dec months.

Without a nightlife, which won't be here again for maybe 2 more years, NYC IS DEAD.

Only a few days of daytime temps near 80f or a hair above. Nothing like past several months, and more to the point all the moist weather is gone. That makes a huge difference, many days over past summer it wasn't really that hot, just constantly moist. Even just a few weeks ago it was high to middle 70's but dew point was still > 55 and often into 60's. There were a few days when it was sort of cool but humidity was in 90% range IIRC.

I hate this in-between weather. I want to either be outside in 90° heat. Or in my apartment in 90° heat. So if summer is over, then bring on the winter.

I love Autumn, best and most consistent season for me. Cider and sour ale season too!
