Just wondering what the reality is, as I have an extreme phobia.
Another question from the person who lives on the west coast wondering about the east cost by living through other peoples lives.
Roaches is a pick your poison pest.
For instance those who have roaches do not have bed bugs.
Those who have ants do not have roaches
Those who have spiders do not have roaches
Those who have house centipedes do not have roaches
Then there are silverfish
There are also crickets and pray they are not camelback crickets. Pray!
There are also mites, yes those tiny red or white dots that are scurrying out of the corner of your vision are mites (had these when I had pet reptiles)
So its hard to not have some kind of pest, lucky for me I dont have anything due to living on a high floor.
Location depends on the pest, also elevation. 1st floor apartment? Best believe there will be everything. Nasty neighbors? there will be pests.

I think it's so funny that you are triggered by my living on the West Coast.
I want to spend a lot of time in NYC, so is it okay to ask considering I will be "living" there for extended periods of time? Or are transplants not allowed to ever ask anything about NYC.
I assume you were born and raised in NYC and consider anyone else a foreigner.
